DASA and its brands have a strong commitment with the preservation of the environment and hold permanent actions to reduce the environmental impacts caused by their activities.

Bound to strict international standards and after studies and assessments run by specialized teams, the following control and monitoring of impact programs were established:

Management and proper discharge of residues;
Sound monitoring;
Control of black smoke emission;
Treatment of NTOs effluents;
Selective collection;
Reduction of the CFC and fossil fuel usage;
Reduction in the consumption of electricity and water;
Pruning of trees.

DASA has an environment management system to ensure that all samples be collected, shipped, handled, processed, stored and discharged according to applicable environment laws and rules . All biologic material residues are decontaminated and discharged in legal sanitary landfill, promoting the pollution reduction and lowering the volume generated. Besides, all brand PSCs have a Health Service Residues Management Program, contemplating also the correct discharge of radioactive, chemical and garbage residues.

An emergency and treatment of eventual environment accidents plan was developed, with well trained teams and emergency kits for a fast correction of the problem. Employees and third parties receive intensive and constant training to be aware and able to develop benefic behavior of preservation and respect to the environment.
